After finishing her study political sciences at the Amsterdam University Tara Elders started focusing on an acting career. She attended acting classes at the theatre school ‘De Trap’ and soon had her first roles.

Tara has now made numerous appearances in tv-series, but is now also settled as a top actress in the Dutch film industry. With parts in major film productions as Floris, Feestje, Shouf Shouf Habibi and the award winning Phileine she is now a well known personality in the lowlands entertainment industry.

Like Tara’s male co-star in May 6th she has appeared in other Theo van Gogh productions. The director himself has meanwhile hinted that Tara may be seen in his next project: a lesbian road movie together with the other big Dutch star Katja Schuurman.
